Logos

Role: Graphic Designer

Programs: Ai

Below showcases several logos that I have designed for various companies.

Jane Daisy General

I was hired by Jane Daisy General to design the company’s logo. Jane Daisy General, based in Geneseo, NY, fixes and sells vintage and costume jewelry. The design goal was to combine a cat and a daisy with the owner’s desire that the cat be a sphynx. I came up with a sphynx version and an alternative cat that was more playful. The owner liked both versions and uses them in different promotional markets.

secondEncounter

I designed the company logo along with a business card for secondEncounter, an independent craftsman based in Sleepy Hollow, NY, who fixes vintage and costume jewelry and watches. The owner wanted the logo to include a winding road to represent the path of the jewelry and watches moving to a new life with a new owner. Also requested was to include some jewelry and a watch in the logo. I used the space inside a green diamond ring for a watch face and set this combination as a pendant on a necklace. I used an italicized font to emphasize the movement to a new life with a new owner.

Dobbs & Bishop Fine Cheese

I was hired by the Bronxville, NY company, Dobbs & Bishop Fine Cheese, to reformat their logo. I converted their round design to the horizontal form seen below.

Yorkfest

During my 2013 internship with IOC Creative Group in York, PA, I created the logo for the 2013 fine arts festival, Yorkfest. The logo was featured on T-shirts, magnets, postcards, a billboard, and the festival’s program.
